Founded in 2019, World of Finance was created with a clear mission: to make finance accessible to every student.
What started as an initiative to complement academic education quickly evolved into the largest student organization at USI. Through workshops, guest speakers, and international experiences, the association bridges the gap between theory and practice.

We invite professors, researchers, and industry experts to share their books, PDFs, papers, and lecture materials. Students who want to explore new subjects — or those who cannot afford tuition — can access free courses and study resources curated by real academics.
We write pocket books designed for students with limited time — concise, clear, and packed with value. Our scholarship recipients receive our publications for free. Finance doesn't have to be complicated: we make it accessible, one book at a time.
Talent should never be limited by financial constraints. We award scholarships to students with high potential but limited resources, enabling them to focus on their studies, attend our events, and build a future in finance. Education is a right, not a privilege.
We organise 5 to 10 events per year — from intimate seminars in Lugano to international field trips that bring students face to face with the world's leading financial institutions. Our goal is to foster an open mind: by meeting students, researchers, and professionals from different countries and cultures, we grow together. We have already visited Frankfurt, London, Lisbon, Madrid, Monte Carlo — and the journey is just beginning.
